This video montage uses clips from the 1910 Wizard of Oz and the 2004 Asian Tsunami. This work juxtaposes comedy with tragedy to comment on how western media uses the tactic of switching between tragedy and comedy to sensationalize and desenationalize natural and man-made disasters in post-colonial contexts.
